Very good product

This is a nice little dock for various XM radios. I use it with my Onyx and am completely satisfied. I don't have any satellite reception in the room I use it in, but the terrestrial signal gives me full reception. I have the dock connected to my computer speakers, but it sounds great through my stereo as well. The remote control is a very nice bonus.

It does need powered speakers or a stereo to play. Though a set of cheap computer speakers would work, an aux input on a stereo is the best way to go.

Works great with my Edge

I bought this to bring my SiriusXM Edge inside and it fits perfectly. The long antenna cable makes it easy to find a good reception. I don't listen to music inside the house, so I don't have a stereo. I put the Edge and home kit near my treadmill and plugged headphones into the audio jack so I could enjoy more music when I exercise. It's been very helpful in that respect because I keep hearing more great songs that I want to listen to, so I stay on the treadmill longer. There isn't a volume control on the edge, so the sound was too loud with my regular headphones. I connected it to my wireless headphones because they have a volume control so I can use the system more comfortably. The dock is small, but has enough weight to it so it will sit securely on a table or shelf. The remote control is very helpful, and will also be nice to take to the car for passengers. It's a nice kit and I'm glad I bought it.

Best home kit use remote all the time

Looked at other home kits, this one is best. Can hook any speaker in with a head phone jack. I use a powered computer speaker system at home. And a battery powered portable speaker when traveling. Plugs in headphone style jack
