Works GREAT!

I have a 2007 BMW 328xi Coupe with the 6FL AUX/USB option and an iPhone 4. This cable replaces the $370 OEM BMW iPod cable. For $22, this is an amazing deal. This cable works perfect. I connect my iPhone and the iPod option on the display enables. It shows all music by artist, album, playlists etc. Sound quality is great and volume/change song buttons from the steering wheel work perfectly. I also use bluetooth with my iPhone and the system can handle both at the same time!

The "this accessory is not optimized for iPhone" message pops up upon connecting, but just tap "dismiss" and it works flawlessly. It even charges my iPhone, which the $370 BMW cable needs another $110 adapter to charge. I highly recommend this adapter. Works GREAT!

Works great in my BMW 335xi

I recently got a 2008 BMW 335xi which came equipped with the iPod/USB adapter in the armrest. But, it didn't have the iPod cable. The one from BMW is something like $100. I hooked this up and the iPod option on my car radio appeared and when I selected it, the radio quickly loaded all the songs and playlist information and I can now listen to my iPod through my car's radio system. And, I can control it with the steering wheel controls or the controls on the radio. It even allows me to browse and select songs by playlist, artist, genre, etc right from the radio. Nice! I couldn't be happier with this.

I have a 2008 BMW X5 and it works extremely well with my iPhone 3GS. I connected it to the USB and 3.5mm inputs inside the arm rest. I can navigate through the various iPod functions on the navigation screen and also select different tracks from the playlists using the buttons on the steering wheel. As a bonus, my iPhone gets charged while connected. Great product at a very reasonable price.
