Well-made and Compact

If you need or want an air vent mount for your cellphone, this one is well-made, holds the phone securely, and for iPhone 5 users, does not block access to the bottom connectors. How well it mounts in your vehicle depends on the location of the air vents and the shape/style of the louvers. This mount requires horizontal louvers with enough space, horizontal and vertical, to allow the two clips to attach to one of the horizontal louvers and let the swinging "foot" at the bottom find a place to rest to provide stability. I suspect most car vents will work fine, but if you have odd-shaped or peculiarly placed vents it may be a "no-go." Works well on my wife's Prius.
One word of caution, The clips hold the vent louver very securely and you will need to carefully use a knife, screwdriver, pencil or other object to get them to release. If you try just jerking the mount off the vent, I suspect you could well break a louver, vent or the mount. For this reason this mount is not practical for switching between cars. Locate a good spot, put it on and leave it on. I knocked one number off the rating because the mount does not allow any adjustment of the angle of viewing. It lies flat against the vent. This is a trade-off because it allows for a very compact unit that lies fairly close to the vent. If your vent is located in a position where it is view-able then you are good. In the Prius the viewing angle is acceptable but not great, however I am rather tall. Like most such products, I recommend you keep the box, packaging and receipt until you are sure it is going to work for you.

Works well, but make sure you have a good place to mount it...

This phone cradle mounts easily on an air vent, and seems to be well-made, but in my car (Mazda Miata), I found a better place for my phone, easier to reach and get to, on the center console. Your experience of course will be different due to your car's interior design.
Remember, since it uses an air vent, whatever temperature air is coming from the vent will strike your phone. In the winter, it may get too hot -- summer, too cold.

Air Vent Phone Cradle is Perfect

I set the item into the vent to the left of the steering wheel, and I plug in a charging cable and headset (I like the Plantronic wired ones). It is out of the way, but immediately available. It is easy to take out, and I always see it as I get out of the car so I don't forget it. Inlike a cradle with a suction-cup that attaches to the windshield, it never comes loose, it's out of the sun and it's out of plain sight.
