Poor Design

This item internal plastic is totally different from the GM remote fob. It does not allow room for the chip. Poor aftermarket design.

Easily Break

I had my original GM fobs for 10 years before they deteriorated and broke. I've had this one for only a few weeks and they are breaking already. Looks like I will spend the additional money on the real GM fobs and have learned that you get what you pay for. I will say they looked and operated great for the first two weeks, the plastic is just not the same as the real deal.

What an Improvement!!!

I'd gone for years with old, broken key FOBs as I was just too cheap to pay dealer prices to get new ones. I purchased two of these cases and couldn't be more pleased with the improvement. The switch was easy (took maybe 2 minutes per FOB). I cannot tell any difference between the new cases and the old ones, except that the new ones aren't broken and scratched. I used the new case to replace the cases for my 2000 Chevy Silverado and they fit perfectly. Since you use the key FOB every time you drive enter the vehicle, replacing them with new cases makes a surprisingly big difference! I'd make this purchase again in a heartbeat.
