Cheap but it works fantastic!

I was a little bit worried about this product for the price but after using it for awhile I was shocked by how good it picks up police radars! Not a waste of money at all!!!

The screen is so dim you can't make out what is being said or ever if it is turned on. I passed 4 cops today on the freeway and 3 it didn't detect and the other one it only let me know 10 feet away. I asked Amazon for a replacement and will up date this feedback if that one works out.
Maybe I just got a dud??

Both are dim and both are not very good. I have both units hooked up in my car and one starts flashing KA band and the other X band. I drove by a few cops and both do nothing at all. Only once did both cobras agree and that was as I driving towards a door tonight at a shopping store they flashed KA BAND. KA is only used by police yet they both read KA coming from frys food and drug store???
I need to say the 2nd one was a little brighter but not enough to see it in the day time. The 2nd unit picked up a cop tonight drivng un behind me once he was about 20 feet away from my car. How is this going to save anyone a ticket? I drive by photo radars and they don't even go off.
I use to own a escort passport along time ago and it always told me of photo radar and cops miles ahead. You guys don't know what your missing. I wanted this unit to work out because I got it for only $30 after a $5 promo (that i'll lose now) but I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true. I'm going to start saving for a used passport.
Save your money and get a real RD. This will only give you false sense of security and that may cost you more money thinking there is no cops around.

it's better than nothing...........what do you expect for 40 bucks...............Cobra ESD7570 9-Band Performance Radar/Laser Detector with 360 Degree...better than nothing
