Don't believe the specs
By William R. Vincent
This amplifier works fine for the purpose I intended it for - to run a small set of speakers in an outdoor gazebo at "background level" volumes. However, the actual output power is NOT 60 watts. If anything, it's more like 8-10 watts before going into overload. I expected a bit more, even though this "power" specification issue is very common with most audio amplifiers made in China. Although I'm an electrical engineer, anyone with basic electrical knowledge can see that the power adapter itself can't even supply half of the claimed output power (14.4 volts x 2 amps = 28.8 watts). So that's only 28.8 watts to run the whole unit, including the LED light around the volume control. Also, on the unit I purchased, the microphone input did nothing at all. But it performs the simple task I bought it for, so I'll keep it. One more thing to consider: In the case where you might connect it to a subwoofer (even a dual-coil speaker) - don't do it. The T-Class amplifier chip uses special inductors and capacitors on the output - even on the common "ground" side. Unlike most stereo amplifiers, the black / common terminals are NOT the same connection for each channel. Translation: the overload relay will kick in - even at very low volume levels.

No where near the 60 watt advertised power. More like 8.
By Bill
Very poor sounds. I opted for the 60 amp expecting somewhere close.. my battery powered bluetooth speaker blows it away.. Now i read it need at least a 12v 4A converter instead of the supplied 2A converter... i would have rather paid more for the advertised performance.

Only four Watts power!
By Ellen Klinge
I thought that this amplifier would be a great deal less than $30. However, it turned out that this was too good to be true. I quickly noticed that this amp in fact can only deliver four Watts per speaker. It might still be a good deal but if I had spent more money, I could have gotten an amp that gives me a lot more power. I think the specifications are misleading.
