Misconception

This is in response to some of the reviews. This device is used to get a GPS satellite lock by placing it near a window when the Microcell is placed in a area where GPS lock cannot be achieved, not to improve the signal of the phones being used.

Exactly what I needed.

After a hurricane, the network characteristics from our cable provider weakened, so we had to move our modem and router into the basement where the signal coming in from the cable company was strongest. Of course we couldn't get a reliable GPS signal down there. So I could have moved my AT&T Microcell to a different floor and run Cat5, or I could run a GPS antenna down to the basement. I chose the latter. The price was GREAT. It arrived a couple days after I ordered it. Drilled a hole from the garage to the basement, drew the cable down, and plugged it in. Now the Microcell acquires GPS within a minute or two of power on, and it's good to go. Couldn't be happier, except if perhaps the cable company would pay for the antenna :-).

Very Happy!

I was having a lot of problems with my microcell. It would stop working at least 3-4 times a day. I looked into ways of fixing it and came up with this product. I order it, it came on time, and has worked so well since the day I got it. I've only had once service interruption in the last month. Very happy with it and I recommend it to anyone who's having trouble with their microcell. Thanks :)
