Same as the Garmin OEM Cable

I had tried to buy an extra cable from Garmin for my new Garmin 2595LMT but they kept telling me that it was not available and I needed to order one that contained a traffic receiver for around $60. Being a skinflint and knowing that the GPS has a built in traffic receiver, I tried several USB cables that were powered off of my phone charger. None of them seemed to work, except to charge the GPS. I recently found this cable on AMAZON for a decent price and ordered it. Hallelujah!! It IS a Garmin product (It says so on it) and works perfectly - even the traffic function. Maybe I need another one - Just in case !!
However, I did not receive a free Micro SD Card Reader Writer with it ???

Bought a Second One for My Wife

I bought one for my new garmin GPS and it works so well that I purchased another for my wife's GPS.
Unlike the cord that comes with the GPS it keeps the cord from tangling and getting in the way of other things on the dashboard.
It also stores more easily. A good simple product.

Vehicle Power Cable for use in the car.

I like this product and it is necessary because my GPS only has a two hour battery life. The only problem, is that the "In Use/Connected" light is RED. Upon my first use, I thought that that
this was an indication of some sort of problem, so I wiggled the connection until the Red Light went out. Later, of course, the "Low Battery" warning came on the GPS. Fortunatly, I had just arrived at my destination. A strong suggestion would be to use a GREEN Light, which implies that things are normal and OK. As a retired commercial pilot, I'm conditioned to think that way.
