Great price.Easy to use.

Great price and ease of use. The white light is slight a mix of all the colors. Nice little remote at close range but anything farther than 12 feet the remote won't work. Overall I like it very much for the price.

Multiple issues

Needs improvement:

Power it on via the wall switch and it goes into an annoying color-cycling mode. I was hoping it could be used as a dim standard bulb replacement with added functionality via the remote. No such luck.

The "white" light is a poor mix of red, green, and blue, with each color banding across the floor. It's also too much blue. The "yellow" setting is much closer to incandescent white.

The remote works well when you're standing directly under the bulb pointing up at it, but from more than 5 feet away it's hit-or-miss. Remote works better in pitch dark night -- often you can turn it on, but then its own light interferes with the remote. Remote takes one CR2025 coin cell (included).

It arrived with the lens loose and the snap-ring that retains the lens detached in the box. Some assembly required.

"strobe" doesn't actually strobe. It switches between colors slower than I can manually switch them with the remote. "dimming" consists of three poorly spaced levels.

Much less bright than a good 3W led flashlight, plus lots of messy beam artifacts, and weird color banding. I'd guess 80-100 lumens on the brightest white setting.

The heat sinking is good at least, and it's small enough to fit any e26/e27-base fixture I can imagine.

Excellent Little LED Light - Senses Remote off Ceiling

I rarely give a full five star rating. Here is an exception. This little spotlight bulb and remote works perfectly as a night light and dim area light. It really delivers what is advertised with multiple colors, intensities, and cycles. Think back to my math days, there must be about 50 options including the cycles.

The remote is strong enough to permit the bulb working in a small lamp with shade. It then illuminates the ceiling and some of the lamp. The great thing is that the bulb senses the remote when both are pointed towards the ceiling, about where the spot of light is seen.

If you have a blank white wall, consider this cheap bulb instead of a poster or posters. I purchased a cheap wall or ceiling mounted spot light fixture and pointed the bulb to the adjacent wall. Looks fantastic, like a mandala.
