Awesome Sound

I bought these along with Kenwood Kfc-P709Ps 6.5-Inch Performance Series Component Speaker System to recreate the stock infinity set up in my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I used Fat Mat to cover a large area around each door speaker. I mounted the tweeters in the dash where the old ones were. With my stereo and amp, I'm probably giving these things around 30-40 watts each, and let me tell you they sound great, and get very loud. I can max the bass on my head unit, and have to turn down the highs to half level or else they will shatter my ears. I was thinking about getting a sub woofer, but not anymore. The combination punch some hard bass and sparkle some great highs. Very impressed for the money. Be sure to hook up the cross overs to the tweeters if using the P709P system.

Good sound but low bass

The quality of sound significantly improved. I get crisp highs, hear all middles and bass. However the bass decreased compared to the original one-way speaker I had in my car. The enclosure in my door is not the best to get full bass, however I expected little bit more from these speakers.
