I can't beleive this works
By MoonBlue
We have a 1996 Buick Roadmaster with the original dash and cassette stereo system. I don't want to change the dash board to update the stereo system and we have some cassettes, but come on, it's almost 2012! So I bought this in the hopes of hooking in my MP3 or Ipod. It seems really cheap and junky, but I stuck it in the cassette player, hooked up my MP3 player and BAM - it works perfectly! Sounds better than the cassettes we have! I was VERY pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend.

Does just the job I expect it to
By Michael
I keep my iTouch at the middle of the volume scale and then control the loudness from the dial on my car. Get perfect clear quality sound. When I decide not to play from my iTouch I unplug the cord and eject the adapter so I don't ruin it.

Perfect for my vehicle
By FlamingoNut
This exact Belkin replaces a generic purchased elsewhere (cord frayed at MP3 connector). I have an older vehicle (2001) that does not have an MP3 jack, like many (if not most) new cars have. I use this for my Sansa Fuze and my Slacker radio, without any problems. Although a bit most costly than generics or other brands, Belkin is a name I trust. Mine had a regular sticker price of $19.99 (same on the Belkin website as well as others-where did Amazon come up with that list price?) but I purchased for $12 locally (on sale plus 30% off).
