Kickers Rock

I bought a set of these and was amazed. These are the low end Kicker 6x9s but you shouldnt let that turn you away. Kicker dont play around when it comes to sound and build quality. And their slogan "living loud" Is not an overstatement by any means. I already had Kenwood 6.5s in the doors and put these 6x9s in the back deck and the Kenwoods are seriousely outclassed and I am not knocking the Kenwoods. They are good speakers and Kenwood is a good name in audio but Bang for your buck Kicker just delivers a better product. If your on a tight budget and want awsome sound, these are the speakers for you. Also you might want to get some sound deadning material because these will rattle the back deck in ways your factory speakers could only dream to.

I dropped these speakers into my daughters Mazda 626. They are only powered by the head unit and they are amazing for the price. I kind of expected the lows to really take over the sound. I was shocked at how well these speakers played the highs, almost too well. It took a lot of tweaking the head unit to get the mid sound up to par. For a while all I had was mirror rattling bass and ear penetrating highs. A few adjustments and these speakers were awesome. These are great speakers and I am going to put a set in my Dodge Ram.

Kicker 6x9

These speakers were easy to install. They fit into the factory space. They are factory replacement and not for pro systems. They have more base than the factory speakers and work fine with the stock stereo. I wouldn't recommend using an amp as they will distort at high volume.
